By submitting a form on this website, booking an evaluation, or enrolling in a program with Intercontinental K9 ("ICONK9®," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the terms below. These terms apply across both our Training Campus (Nokesville, Virginia, USA) and our PatiLee Campus (Sarıyer, İstanbul, Türkiye).
ICONK9® provides professional dog training, evaluation, consulting, and education services across four program families: Family Dogs, Working Dogs, Handler Training, and Consulting. ICONK9® does not sell physical consumer products through this website. Every engagement begins with a paid evaluation; the training path, duration, and scope of work are determined only after this evaluation — not selected from a menu in advance.
ICONK9® reserves the right to accept, refuse, or discontinue services to any client or dog based on suitability, safety, or ethical considerations.
Testing fees cover the professional evaluation process, structured sessions, behavioral interpretation, and program placement, following the levels published on our Programs page. Deposits, consultation fees, and evaluation fees are used to reserve time, expertise, and resources and are therefore non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement. The final training program, duration, and pricing are confirmed in writing after evaluation and may differ from general guidance published on this website.
Facility stay, daycare, food, transportation, veterinary needs, supplements, and applicable taxes are not included in testing or program fees and are calculated separately when required.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your dog, including age, health history, vaccination status, and any known behavior issues — including bite history or safety incidents — at the time of evaluation. Incomplete or inaccurate disclosure can affect both the safety of the evaluation and the suitability of the recommended program.
Dogs must be current on required vaccinations before attending either campus, unless otherwise agreed with us in writing in advance.
Working with animals carries inherent risk. While ICONK9® takes reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of dogs, handlers, staff, and property, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with dog training, evaluation, and behavior work. Working Dog programs (protection, detection, patrol/tactical) carry additional risk and are subject to our separate Working Terms.
If your dog causes injury to a person or another animal, or causes property damage, during or as a result of our services, you agree to be responsible for any resulting losses, damages, or claims, except where caused by ICONK9's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
By enrolling in our services, you release ICONK9, its owners, staff, and agents from claims, damages, or losses arising from the ordinary risks of dog training and evaluation, and agree to indemnify and hold ICONK9 harmless from claims brought by third parties arising from your dog's behavior, except where caused by ICONK9's gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Training results depend on many factors outside our control, including the dog's temperament, health, history, and the owner's consistency in following guidance after training. ICONK9® does not guarantee specific behavioral outcomes, competition results, or certification timelines. Outcomes may vary depending on the dog, human involvement, environment, consistency, and compliance with ICONK9® guidelines.
Evaluation and program scheduling changes should be requested as early as possible by emailing info@iconk9.com. Fees already incurred for evaluation or in-progress training are not refundable, though we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions where possible.
All content, systems, methodologies, materials, names, and trademarks presented on this website are the intellectual property of ICONK9®. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or representation of ICONK9® content or systems is strictly prohibited.
ICONK9® is not responsible for outcomes resulting from improper application, lack of consistency, or failure to follow professional guidance. To the extent permitted by law, ICONK9® is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or participation in our programs, beyond the fees paid for the specific service in question.
Services delivered at our Training Campus are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Services delivered at our PatiLee Campus are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The applicable jurisdiction depends on where the service is performed.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website or our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
